SoHo Event with Aimee Song at Piperlime

Last night I attended an event at the Piperlime SoHo Pop UP store featuring “Song of Style” blogger and fashionista, Aimee Song. (www.songofstyle.com). The event was really fun and unique! I had a great time mingling with PopSugar and other fab ladies at the event. Aimee was super friendly and chatted with everyone.

Also, they had the cutest little treats for us to nibble on while we were shopping/mingling. A churro (fried dough sprinkled with sugar and cinnamin) hanging from an umbrella! Strawberry, rhubarb popsicles and rosemary flavored ice-cream sandwiches were just some of my faves from this Piperlime Event in SoHo. Oh, cannot forget the oyster cart with fresh oysters ready to be served. My blogger friend, MDoll, loved that part! Check her out on http://www.mdollnyc.com

I kept my outfit fun and chic- pairing my favorite American Apparel striped top with my neon pink trousers from H&M. Love the stripe simplicity with a bright, pop color! Accessories I kept simple with simple studs and two yellow bangles. Of course, my neon jelly’s were on my feet, keeping me comfy and pulled the look together!

My evening with Rachel Zoe, Fashion Stylist/Designer/Editor

On Wednesday night in SoHo, NYC I got to meet one of my favorite style icons ever!! Knowing people in this industry is always major, I received the invite/RSVP from one of my dear friends and was lucky enough to bring a plus one with me 🙂

The event was everything and more! Located in SoHo in the store of PiperLime.. The store was shut down and only the best of the best fashionista’s were there! Mingling, open bar with spiked hot chocolate, baked by Melissa signature cupcakes, and of course the main event- Miss Rachel Zoe. Rachel is the fashion editor for Piperlime now, so a lot of her clothing was in the store. I got to browse and shop the latest collection along with other amazing designer pieces.

Rachel did a styling segment and brought out models with her fave holiday season looks. She gave us all little tips and tricks for dressing up and out! It was “MAJE” But my fave part? Meeting her in person and take a quick pic! I told her she is such an inspiration to me and I was just thrilled to meet her! All in all, the night was perfect and I’m so happy I got the chance to meet one of my style icons!!! RACHEL!!! Go team Zoe! (Did I mention her hubby and entourage were there too? Brad is gorge! in person) 🙂
