The knee-high gladiator trend is really big this spring/summer. From the runways to the stores, I see it in all variations. I was a little skeptical about the high heel gladiators, but I’m all about trying new trends and fashion risks and I actually do like them! It’s all about incorporating them into your own style and making it work for you.
The flat knee-high gladiator shoes are more casual and can be worn with cut off shorts or even a fun floral skirt/dress. The trick is to get them in a neutral color, that way you can pair them with any fun print or floral.
I love the boho feel that they give off and most importantly they are so fun to add into my wardrobe!
A couple of days ago my co-worker and decided to make our own bracelet. Working in the garment district in NYC there are a bunch of different trim stores and bead stores all over. We were looking for some studs and ended up finding the cutest little charms- one idea to the next we bought all the supplies to make our own bracelets. We figured why would we go out and buy something that we can just make our own way? It’s completely original, a fun project, and most importantly the feeling you get after is the best! Making accessories is def. a fun task because it’s super creative and allows you to stretch beyond your imagination. The best part is that it’s super easy! Really! It took me about half an hour to make my bracelet and the time felt like nothing because I was enjoying every moment.
Location for beads — Beads @ 5th. But, I would also recommend Beads World on 39th Street and Broadway.

This season Rock Candy gems are all over! It took place of the statement necklace and has its own unique flair to it. The vibrant colors and bold accessories are a perfect staple for this summer. Neons and bright colors are the best in the summer- especially with a nice, bronzed tan 😉 It balances out perfectly. Layering different colors is a new twist. Think outside the box and be bold, be you, and shine!
