This summer’s nail trend is crazy, over the top, neon, and fun! Nails have become an accessory with your outfit this summer, and the motto is the brighter the better. With neon colors such as lime yellow, hot pinks, corals, turquoise blues, and more this season is just bursting with new flavor– and I am loving it! Nail Art on top of the fun colors is an extra bonus. Depending on your mood for the week, go with what your heart desires. Have fun with it and most importantly don’t forget the more color the better!!
For some inspiration:
Neon colors for the summertime are truly necessary! Whether it be on your nails, shoes, accessories, or clothes- it’s a pop that your wardrobe needs! Sometimes just incorporating a couple of neon pops to an existing outfit that you already have will add that summer flair you need. Neon nail color is super fun too! From colors like pink, green, purple, and orange the possibilities are endless! Another fave of mine is neon color-blocking. Remember to not over-do it though, pick two very bold colors and leave your outfit with that.Neons are so bright and bold, they set a statement already. Most important tip is to have fun with the colors, and go with your mood 🙂 Add some color and splash into your life!! 🙂

The MET GALA is always something to look forward to in my book; mostly for the fashion! I love meshing art, fashion, and music. Celebs always push the envelope and wear the most outrageous yet amazing styles ever! Sarah Jessica Parker is always my favorite! She is such a style icon and wows me every year with something new, fresh ,and extravagant. Another favorite of mine was Rihanna wearing Tom Ford– need that dress in my life ASAP! So fly and the fit was perfect.
Here are some more of my faves from the glamorous night:
Jump suits are my absolute fave spring/summer outfit. They are so simple, chic, and perfect for any day/night event. Dress them up or down, a jumper is essential for every woman. This season color splashes as well as bold prints are making a come back and I love joining both together. One shoulder or strapless is super cute too! Pair with some fab accessories and you are all set for the warm weather! So essential, jump up to this trend 😉
SO vintage! These retro shades are an absolute MUST for this season. What is old and certainly new again. The recent resurgence of retro inspired sunnies is back with a new and fresh flair.
Pair them with some bright coral or red lips, a cool updo ,and you are all retro-ready baby. The best part about them is that the funkier and crazier they are, the better! They come in a variety of shapes and colors, they add a quirky finishing touch to any outfit. But, do remember to keep your face frame in mind and get a pair that looks best on you and makes you feel good!
Here is some inspiration to get you ready for spring/summer retro flavor! 🙂
One of my favorite accessories has to be a simple yet chic scarf. It’s so easy and simple yet adds SO much to any outfit. My newest fashion obsession is the light jersey fabric circle scarf. They are perfect for the beautiful spring days and can spice up any simple outfit or just add an extra accessory. The best part? You literally just throw it on and go! So great for those on the go days or dates when you just want that extra touch!

Rachel Roy is such a talented clothing designer and nowadays young designers are always branching out. Her new shoe line is set to come out to stores in August and I am just thrilled! Having taken “designer inspiration” from her footwear mentor Manolo Blahnik, the Rachel Roy collection of around 30 shoe styles will retail from $200–600 and include flats, pumps, boots, and booties. Rachel’s clothing always portrays a sense of confidence and structure, I am excited to see what her new shew line will entail. Did I mention she is one of Michelle Obama’s favorite designers? GO Girl!
“I don’t want shoes unless they are strong and sexy. I don’t want them to be just strong or just sexy,” says Roy. “[A strong and sexy look] represents the woman I want to be.”
