There are some fashion trends that I just simply can’t get tired of. This spring/summer fashion trend that I am obsessing over is FRINGE! I absolutely love the movement, fun, free spirit, boho feel that fringe adds to an outfit. Any time I wear it, I just want to move and be free. Show off the FAB. movement and be noticed! The newest trend that I’ve spotted lately is fringe accessories, but not just your average cross-bag fringe, I’m taking elaborate fringe necklaces and long earrings! Yes! So forget the jacket and bags, fringe is taking over this season on a whole other level— and No complaints from me 🙂
A couple of days ago my co-worker and decided to make our own bracelet. Working in the garment district in NYC there are a bunch of different trim stores and bead stores all over. We were looking for some studs and ended up finding the cutest little charms- one idea to the next we bought all the supplies to make our own bracelets. We figured why would we go out and buy something that we can just make our own way? It’s completely original, a fun project, and most importantly the feeling you get after is the best! Making accessories is def. a fun task because it’s super creative and allows you to stretch beyond your imagination. The best part is that it’s super easy! Really! It took me about half an hour to make my bracelet and the time felt like nothing because I was enjoying every moment.
Location for beads — Beads @ 5th. But, I would also recommend Beads World on 39th Street and Broadway.

Studded accessories are fierce and edgy. Either DIY projects on shorts or a hint of studs on a bracelet, the statement is always bold! My newest obsession this season is the Alexander Wang studded bag because it’s what I like to call, “subtly edgy.” For the woman who is classy and sophisticated but has a bit of edge to her and likes to spice things up. Can be a fun DIY project as well 😉
This season Rock Candy gems are all over! It took place of the statement necklace and has its own unique flair to it. The vibrant colors and bold accessories are a perfect staple for this summer. Neons and bright colors are the best in the summer- especially with a nice, bronzed tan 😉 It balances out perfectly. Layering different colors is a new twist. Think outside the box and be bold, be you, and shine!

One thing I love in the summer time is bright and fun nail polish! The crazier the colors the better, I usually go with my mood when I pick out a color- but we all know when summer comes we are just always in bright mood!
Remember when you were a kid and colored with Crayola crayons? Well, they stepped it up a bit and came out with the cutest creation- Crayola colors for your nails. SO adorable. The best part–they actually come in a jumbo sized crayola box. So you can be a kid again 🙂 Happy Summer!
