Affordable designer fashion is definitely the best of the best! On April 17th Alberta Ferretti’s new collection for Macy’s will drop in all stores. With prices from $49-$119 Ferretti’s collection is full of chunky sweaters, maxi dresses, strapless tops, and of course on trend print. The shoot is absolutely divine, shot in Italy on the Amalfi coast. The bright-colored dresses against the backgrounds is so exquisite, makes me want to take a vacation myself! ..With some of the designer’s amazing clothing, of course 😉
“You mirror what the world mirrors to you,” Jennifer Lopez says.
Jennifer Lopez graced the cover of VOGUE and looked absolutely FAB in red. Newly single and ready to conquer the world yet again, this naturalista fashionista looks amazing in her red Valentiono dress! Red is such a spicy and sultry color, and the best part is that it works on every skin tone! Very appropriate for a nice night out or a romantic date night. Either way red is a staple in any women’s closet and J.Lo is doing it justice! This is her second VOGUE cover spread, her first one was in 2005. Go Girl!
I am a HUGE fan of prints- floral/animal/geometric/retro/hearts and my new current obsession, Mirrored! This print is SO fly because it’s colorful and interesting to the eye. Anything that can be a statement piece is okay in my book. As seen all over the runways such as Prabal Gurung, D&G, Etro, Peter Pilotto, and Alberta Ferretti designers have mastered this technique of mirror-ing a beautiful print on flowy tops, dresses, and my fave- pencil skirts. It’s super cute and fun, the print and adds that much more color to your spring/summer wardrobe. Why just have one amazing print when you can double the fashion pleasure?

Happy Spring 🙂 🙂
SO vintage! These retro shades are an absolute MUST for this season. What is old and certainly new again. The recent resurgence of retro inspired sunnies is back with a new and fresh flair.
Pair them with some bright coral or red lips, a cool updo ,and you are all retro-ready baby. The best part about them is that the funkier and crazier they are, the better! They come in a variety of shapes and colors, they add a quirky finishing touch to any outfit. But, do remember to keep your face frame in mind and get a pair that looks best on you and makes you feel good!
Here is some inspiration to get you ready for spring/summer retro flavor! 🙂
Bright colors are my absolute favorite! They are so fun and make me feel so happy when I wear em’ This spring colored denim pants are the biggest trend. They are so funky and versatile I just love them. Make the pants the statement piece or mix and match for a funky, outspoken outfit. Whatever your mood fits. Colorblocking with the pants can be so major or just pair it with a simple white t and accessorize (which I love as well!) The possibilities are endless with these bright and bold pants, find the color that fits your style and get ready for spring!

And, of course your naturalista fashionista truly rockin’ my bright tangerine colored pants at a basketball game. I made the pants be the bold piece so I simply paired with a v neck and a circle scarf. I accessorized with fun shoes and jewelery and I was all set!
Besides being a hilarious actress, Lucille Ball truly emphasized the tailored and polished look of her times. Nicknamed the First Lady of Television and the Queen of Comedy she has truly paved her way in her industry. I get so much inspiration from her style, the tailored suits and fitted clothing..now if I can work on my getting her hairstyles down! Ugh, LOVE! With lovely pencil skirts, gorgeous glam dresses and lovely pant and skirt suits created Lucille’s favorite attire. A woman who adored being elegant as every woman should be, Lucille Ball managed to be very feminine in her outfits even though they were not at all revealing. Which is oh so lovely! Because her career lasted for decades, Lucille Ball adapted her fashion style to the present, always being trendy, stylish and elegant at the same time. Go Girl!
