The trend from last season has definitely been coming back for spring/summer. Tribal is one of my favorite trends because it has a bohemian flair. The chunky bracelets and bedazzled, printed clutches are just so major. Mix and match with your outfit and you’re all naturalista fashionista’d out for the spring!
Here are some of my favorite looks from the runway that might inspire you! Tribal is ALL over so it will not be hard to find for this upcoming season. But my tip for some great, authentic pieces is to try local vintage stores around your area. For jewelery those shops are a gem!
One of my favorite designers has to Gwen Stefani, she is so eclectic and versatile with her style I just love her! I’ve been a fan since No Doubt and still am.. This is her latest Spring 2012 line and I am completely obsessed with each and every piece. From the bright neon accessories, to the messy buns, and oversized pants I adore this collection! I would literally wear every single piece all the way down to the bags, LOVE LOVE LOVE. She never seems to let me down, always brings a new twist with the bold prints and interesting details. One of my faves, much love and respect to her creativity and I only hope she keeps inspiring us naturalista fashionistas with her looks.
If I can combine two of my favorite things this shoot definitely has done it. Harper’s Bazaar shot their Chic in the Heat spread in South Beach, Miami and I am beyond obsessed the beautiful prints, vibrant colors, sheer hints, and of course the background! I also liked the hint of retro flavor with the accessories, especially the sunglasses. So Major! Check it out.
I am LOVING the ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana Summer 2012. This shoot has FAB written all over it- it’s so D&G- SO unique, so fiery, and so eclectic. Supermodel Bianca Balti and Monica Bellucci play the traditional Italian family members, shot by photographer Giampaolo Sgura and Mariano Vivanco, and the scene was set in Southern Italy. Oh Italia…this Ad is making me want to pack my bags throw on a fiery chili D&G two piece and be out! Andiamo!
This spring/summer trend has been seen all over the runways of Marc Jacobs/Preen/Jason Wu/Vera Wang. As seen on jacket or blouses and pencil skirts they come in all different sizes and materials. They add a little extra femininity to the simple pencil skirt and give more of a shape to your body.
Your naturalista fashionista rockin’ a Gwen Beloti Original peplum jacket! love this look, very feminine and very flirty!
One of my favorite accessories has to be a simple yet chic scarf. It’s so easy and simple yet adds SO much to any outfit. My newest fashion obsession is the light jersey fabric circle scarf. They are perfect for the beautiful spring days and can spice up any simple outfit or just add an extra accessory. The best part? You literally just throw it on and go! So great for those on the go days or dates when you just want that extra touch!
Here are some to get you inspired!

After an amazing performance at the Grammys and 6 Grammy wins I was so happy to find out that she is on the cover of VOGUE for the March 2012 issue. Adele has such a soulful voice and her performances are felt in every sense of the word. She is such a real artist and I respect her work so much.
Take a look at some pics from the shoot- LOVE LOVE LOVE the Oscar de la Renta on her! I will definitely be purchasing this one!
Just in case you missed her amazing performance:
Rachel Zoe has always been one of my favorite celebrity stylists. She has such a powerful and confident persona that I just love. The fact that she has finally dipped into the designing field makes me so excited. A woman with such great taste as hers needs to design her own clothing! Such an inspiration from me, especially since she is from my state- (shout out to Jersey!) Rachel Zoe debuted her RTW FALL 2012 a couple of days ago and needless to say, I am completely obsessed with the whole line. Bananas! I die. It had a lot of seventies inspiration mixed with my absolute fave- menswear. A lot of structured suits and glamorous furs to add some sensuality. The fit was amazing, the textures were incredible, and the best part?– the styling! I am oh so inspired by a lot of these looks. Suits can be so sexy when fitted properly. And the best part? Accessories to make it feminine.
