Let us remember that, as much has been given us, much will be expected from us, and that true homage comes from the heart as well as from the lips, and shows itself in deeds. ~Theodore Roosevelt

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Naturalista Fashionistas out there! Enjoy.
This season I am seeing a lot of top handle bags. They are a lot easier to travel with your everyday look, and so fashionable. And, they are so cute for an evening out. Perfect for any occasion! That is my kinda bag 😉 I feel so ladylike when I hold one and the sophistication it brings to your outfit is just F-A-B!
Check out some that I found for inspiration:

On this relaxing Saturday I decided to add some more inspiration to my vision board. I’ve always been a fan of collages because they are so fun and you can personalize them. Vision boards are a collage of things that inspire you, they create a vision. When I create one I look through countless magazines and the first thing that catches my attention I cut out and put to the side. I do this from time to time because inspiration always changes as we are evolving. Different things attract us on different days. But the trick is to not overthink it, whatever it may be that just captivated your attention will work. Because that is exactly what you will feel again when you look at your vision board. When I finally have enough to start my board, I take out the glue stick and start pasting 🙂 For me, it takes time to finally complete my board. I like to go back and add more quotes/pics/colors/whatever it may be! This is my vision board in the works.. and I will post a pic of the final one .. when it’s complete 🙂 But for now, get inspired and start your own! Put on your favorite music, relax, and trust me motivation and inspiration will follow.
While shopping and strollin’ in Soho yesterday my friend and I noticed a trend that we were a bit unsure of. Velvet. Some love it and some stay far away because it has the potential (ill-fitting) to not accentuate your body in the best way. One of the most important things about a luxury velvet fabric is fit. It’s truly supposed to be form-fitting to accentuate every curve rather than loose where it looks like you are wearing a velvet curtain.
While I am not a huge fan of velvet, I like to incorporate it in small doses. Sometimes trends are not fit for every woman, we each have different styles, different body shapes and we should marry them with the trend that we like and that fits us. Instead of following a trend, let the trend follow you. Here are some finds that I personally like and might inspire you to give velvet a try!
AA Velvet Pencil Skirt in Plum Perfect & Black ($40)
Urban Outfitters crushed velvet legging (Insight)

I adore getting inspired by female icons. Brigitte Bardot was born on September 28, 1934, in Paris, France and ever since then she has been a fashion icon. A French former fashion model, actress and singer, and animal rights activist she has done it all ! She truly exemplifies a powerful and radiant woman to me. Spicy attitude, big hair, smokey eyes, and exceptional sophistication comes to my mind when I think of her. I love looking at old pictures and trying to incorporate some of that vintage style into mine. Super fun and inspiring at the same time! Whether she is in ballet flats or sky-high boots she is always glamorous, stylish, and posh.
Some of her quotes:
I have always adored beautiful young men. Just because I grow older, my taste doesn’t change. So if I can still have them, why not?
On experience: Every age can be enchanting, provided you live within it.
There is nothing I absolutely adore more than bright colors. Colors in general are beautiful, but bright and happy colors just make me smile, even on the cold and brisk days of Fall. This season I am loving the bright-colored coats and even more the feeling I get when wearing them! It’s true! Bright colors just go with every complexion and bring out the happiness from inside. It’s a statement coat, I love that. Fall/Winter we are in our coats more than anything so why not go bold? Try a cherry pop red or sunshine yellow, or maybe even a tangerine orange! The possibilities are endless..
Get inspired with these…
